Very interesting pair of European hiking/mountaineering pants. These pants are from the post war period and are based off military pants of European Alps mountaineering units (Italy/German/Switzerland/Austria). It is difficult to tell exactly the providence of these pants, as all of the respective military units of the aforementioned countries share a very similar design for their uniform.
These pants feature a wool construction, with the typical rounded bottom (meant to be tucked into boots), straps to tie the bottoms, welt pockets, wide belt loops (for military belts) and nice darts in the front and back.
