A very interesting jacket from a classic Rick Owens collection. Made out of a very soft cotton material, this jacket features Rick’s characteristic asymmetric zipper alongside a plethora of military references. The pockets are inspired by military pockets and the “built-in belt” results in a very interesting “great coat” or “safari jacket” cinched silhouette, which is accentuated thanks to the shoulder construction. Apart from these military references, there are a couple of details that stand out, such as the snap closure at cuffs, which gives the arms a very interesting weight, and the draped back panel, which is reminiscent of trench coat construction.

Overall this is a very unique jacket, featuring Rick’s eponymous juxtaposition of rigidity and luxury.
